About Pongsocket

One big adventure by a little guy with big dreams.

Pongsocket is a website by myself, Andy Graulund. Its main function is to be a weblog, but I like for it to be unable to be solely defined by only that conventional term. This place is mostly a playground for me. A place where I not only utter my feelings and thoughts, but also get creative and spend some time thinking up some fun ideas, that may never be more than that. Ideas.

The blog

Like the different columns and types of stories in a newspaper, there’s actually more than one blog on this site. The blog that was launched first, Andy’s Song of the Now, was launched in early 2009. I write there about the songs I stumble upon during my normal every day living. After the new year of 2010, the main blog at pongsocket was launched, and while it doesn’t have a set topic, it promises to be creative. That’s really the main point to it.

Feeds

Because I have more than one blog on this site, I also have more than one feed. That way you can choose which things by me you want to hear about and which things you’ll want to never ever hear about again. The feeds can be found below:

If you want to read more about the blog, I suggest you look at this relevant first blog post to read more about how it came to be.

Projects

You will also find me using this domain to keep some random web-related ideas I suddenly get inside my head for no reason now and then. Check out the ones found below:

Technicalities

This website runs on code and markup I have made entirely by myself, except for prerequisites, which include PHP SmartyPants and this Calendar class (which is not a place you learn about calendars!). It is hosted partially by (mt) Media Temple and the Amazon Simple Storage Service. Send me an e-mail if there’s something else you want to know!
