loadtweets.php using too many resources

Hi!

Just recently upgraded to the new version of Tweetnest. I have the loadtweets.php running on a cron job twice per day but, since the upgrade, it has been timing out on my server. I wrote my provider (pair.com) and their server resource manager is killing the script because it uses too much memory/resources. The limit is 64MB and it often runs up to 80MB pulling in tweets which seems excessive to me. Sometimes, I only have less than 20 tweets to pull in! Sometimes more, but it is being killed each time. It hasn’t worked properly since I upgraded so your old script must have been more efficient.

Is there anything that can be done to limit resources with this script so that it’ll run on shared servers? I bet I’m not the only one with this problem.

Thanks! Stephanie.
