Cannot access loadtweets.php via HTTP

A forum thread posted in Tweet Nest by himmelende on Nov 16th, 2012

Hi,
since the last 0.8.3 update I ran into the following problems:

I want to access my maintenance PHP files by HTTP (loadtweets.php), but it always comes up with username and password. I also specified a password in config.php. Everything worked pretty well so far.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Ok, I found this workaround on your site:

I looked at the code and I found a way to import the tweets and the user-details.
In the file mpreheader.php in the \maintenance directory you have to comment out the line 29:

“if($web && empty($config[‘maintenance_http_password’])){ die(“No maintenance HTTP password. Please use the command line to run these scripts, or add a password in the maintenance_http_password section in inc/config.php.”); } // Comment out this line to enable password-less HTTP maintenance access”

Now I changed the config.php:
“maintenance_http_password” => “”,
and I also set permission of the config.php to 777 (don’t know if necessary)
Now it should work. After importing the tweets, you can change all back.
