Birk Storm

I Don’t Care

If you just wanna hang with me, you can go hang in a tree

With its groovy rhythms and confident attitude, Danish electrofunk singer-songwriter Birk Storm’s single I Don’t Care gets to be the very first elec’s song of the now. Birk Storm was previously a drummer, and it’s easy to see how a lot of focus is put on the rhythmic part of the song. It works, and it makes the song very catchy, even though there’s very few lyrics. The various layers of synth contributes to the rhythm and makes the track a very interesting piece of intersecting electrical music instruments.

Birk Storm’s debut album, also named I Don’t Care, was released in February in Denmark and sounds really great so far. If you’re into groovy electronic music, this is definitely something to check out.
