Dúné

Victim of the City

Life is not a party

Danish “indielectrock”ers Dúné, who in 2007 became very known for hits such as Dry Lips and 80 Years, is releasing their sophomore album, dubbed “Enter Metropolis” this summer, and the first single was just released a couple days ago and is elec’s song of the now.

The band seems to continue the style defined by their previous release; this song is very rocky and is dominated by electric guitars, with synths lurking in the below and occasionally getting in a word or two. And the hectic chorus is sure to blow your socks off if you turn up the speakers too much. With this strong debut, it’s very interesting to see what else they have planned for us in the forthcoming album. The tidbits I’ve heard sound very promising.
